As autumn brings crisp air and the Double Ninth Festival approaches, 10 companies—Dehua Angu Life Insurance, Sino-Life Insurance, China Merchants Cigna Life Insurance, Dajia Life Insurance, Xingfu Life Insurance, Lianan Life Insurance, and LuJiazui Taikang Life Insurance—joined forces with Haima Park Community on 15 to launch a financial literacy campaign titled "Warm Autumn, Love at Double Ninth." Held in the C District Plaza of Haima Park Community, the event aimed to honor seniors by strengthening consumer protection practices, raising awareness of financial risks among older adults, and safeguarding their savings. The teams delivered essential insurance education and heartfelt care directly to residents' doorsteps.

At the event, consumer protection volunteers from various institutions distributed financial literacy brochures to elderly residents. Using plain language and real-world examples of pension scams, fake investment schemes, sales misrepresentation, and surrender risks, they explained how to identify fraud, avoid telecom scams, and purchase insurance products rationally. Volunteers patiently answered questions on policy services, claims inquiries, and rights protection, encouraging seniors to adopt sound financial consumption habits—avoiding traps like "guaranteed high returns" or "pension investments," and consulting family members or legitimate financial institutions when encountering suspicious situations. Moving beyond traditional lectures, the event featured engaging interactive games such as ring toss and dice rolling, with financial knowledge quizzes integrated into each activity. Seniors enthusiastically participated, absorbing anti-fraud tips and consumer protection essentials in a joyful atmosphere. The lively scene was filled with laughter, and many attendees praised the fun-and-learn approach for being easy to understand, offering both holiday warmth and practical scam-prevention knowledge—a truly rewarding experience.

This joint outreach initiative demonstrates how insurance institutions are putting people-first finance into practice, deepening bank-community collaboration, and delivering age-friendly financial services. Moving forward, participating institutions will continue to focus on the financial needs of older adults, regularly visit communities for age-appropriate education, diversify communication formats, expand awareness of consumer protection in insurance, strengthen the safety net for elderly financial security, and safeguard the well-being and happiness of seniors through concrete actions.
