On 2026-10-17, the 5th National Seminar on Commercial Insurance Development was held at Nankai University, hosted by the Commercial Insurance Research Branch of the China Social Security Society, organized by the School of Finance at Nankai University, and co-organized by Today's Insurance. Nearly 400 representatives from relevant departments, insurance companies, universities, and think tanks gathered to discuss key topics including high-quality development in commercial insurance, health risk management, and the synergy between insurance and the elderly care industry. Ma Xiaowu, Executive Vice President of Qingsong Health Group, attended the event and engaged with leaders from the insurance, elderly care, and pharmaceutical sectors. The discussion focused on "Payment, Service, and Ecosystem: Pathways for Collaborative Development Between the Insurance Industry and Elderly Care Sector During the 15th Five-Year Plan Period," exploring cross-industry resource integration and service coordination.

During the conference, Nankai University's School of Finance and Today's Insurance jointly released the "2026 Insurance and Health Care Teaching Cases." This case call focuses on teaching and research needs, highlighting practices in insurance, pension, health management, medical services, and technology sectors to accumulate resources for talent development, academic research, and industry exchange. Easy Health Group's "Innovative Practice of Synergistic Model between Comprehensive Health Services and Health Insurance" was selected. Leveraging the AIcare technology stack, it integrates third-party services with proprietary health management capabilities to explore synergistic pathways that combine technology, professional services, and insurance protection.
Leverage AI to power professional services and enhance collaboration between health and insurance operations
Integrating insurance with health and wellness services requires addressing users' actual needs across different stages of their health journey. From identifying health risks and seeking professional help, to post-treatment follow-ups, rehabilitation, and long-term management, these services involve multiple organizations and demand varying levels of information comprehension, clinical judgment, and ongoing support.
The technical value of a health tech platform lies in its ability to understand these differences and apply corresponding capabilities to business scenarios. Easy Health Group, guided by its dual-engine strategy of "Health + AI," has developed a portfolio of technical capabilities tailored to different stakeholders through the application of its AIcare technology stack across user health management, professional medical support, and insurance provider services.
The healthcare vertical large model, Dr.GPT, provides foundational capabilities including semantic understanding, knowledge Q&A, and reasoning. Upper-layer applications deliver specific functions tailored to their target users and tasks. This approach—from model capabilities to scenario-based applications—lays the groundwork for integrating technology into real-world business processes.
On the user side, CareMate offers health consultations, health data collection, report interpretation assistance, and follow-up care, supporting daily interactions and continuous health management. On the professional side, Zhengyuanfang provides evidence-based medical support for clinicians and researchers, emphasizing interpretability, verifiability, and traceability to help professionals locate, understand, and verify medical evidence for specific issues.
In the insurance sector, QingSong Health Group provides technical support to partner institutions and participates in the digital transformation of insurance business processes.
Building on this, EasyHealth Group deploys tailored technology solutions in partnership with collaborators across specific use cases to support service organizations and ensure seamless business integration. By anchoring AI capabilities in real-world scenarios, we integrate them with domain expertise, human services, and operational workflows. This foundation enables EasyHealth and its industry partners to jointly explore continuous health services.
Connecting users with industry partners to integrate service resources through ecosystem collaboration
