The 2026 Financial Street Forum Annual Meeting will be held in Beijing from 10 to 22. As a key component of this year's forum, the Inclusive Insurance Parallel Forum, titled "Upholding People-Centered Insurance and Enhancing Governance Through Inclusion," co-hosted by China Life Insurance Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "China Life"), will take place at the Beijing Financial Assets Exchange on 10 from 14:00 to 17:00. This marks the first time since the establishment of the Financial Street Forum Annual Meeting that an inclusive insurance session has been organized, aiming to deeply explore how the insurance industry can accelerate the development of inclusive insurance and inject greater resilience into social governance.
This parallel forum, themed "Upholding the People-Centered Foundation of Insurance and Enhancing Inclusive Care for Treatment," aligns with the critical phase of advancing modernization in China's national governance system and capabilities during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The roundtable discussion focuses on launching the "Sixth Insurance"—Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI)—examining its institutional framework and practical pathways. Participants engaged in dialogue on core issues within the LTCI value chain to jointly explore the blueprint and implementation strategies for long-term care insurance.
China Life stated it will leverage its insurance expertise to build a high-level dialogue platform, contributing insights and solutions to enhance the effectiveness of inclusive insurance in social governance.
